Mali Flip-Flop Bangles

These vibrant bangles were hand-made by an enterprising collective of women in Mali, West Africa. After collecting worn-out flip-flops door to door, they heat and pull the plastic like taffy, creating these delightful bracelets. A handicraft made from a people who have meager resources but rich imaginations to work with.

Bangles are sold in groups of ten by color, with some mixed groups too. Your favorite color sold out? Don't worry, we restock often.

As this is a handmade product there may be some differences in size as well. If a bracelet seems a bit too small, try gently stretching it or rolling it on in a warm water so they will give a bit.

Each set comes in pretty organza bag with explanatory tag. A great gift!
